Platter Set – Sgraffito Dahlias

Hand carved, slip cast porcelain platter and bowl – shallow platter 36cm x 18cm,  and 1 x  ipu iti 9.5cm x 5cm.  The pieces are coated in underglaze and decorated by scrapping away the unwanted areas, this technique is called sgraffito.  Glazed with a clear satin glaze which gives a soft silky matte finish.
