Nga Tuna (Eels)

Description

These platters are decorated individually by hand, so you get something unique.  Inspiration has been taken from Rebecca’s interest in Te Taiao and native aquatic animals.  The technique used is sgraffito where an underglaze is layered on the porcelain and the design is scratched off.  The piece is finished with a range of food safe glazes

Crafted using porcelain slip clay, these Rebecca Boyce Creations are extremely strong and practical.   As a handmade artisan product, slight irregularities in glaze, texture and size should be embraced.
