Sgraffito Dahlias – irish green #2

Description

These platters are decorated individually by hand, so you get something unique.  Inspiration has been taken from the becs_backyard_ gardens where Rebecca’s studio is located.  The technique used is sgraffito where an underglaze is layered on the porcelain and then scratched off creating the design.  The piece is finished with a range of food safe glazes

Crafted using porcelain slip clay, these Rebecca Boyce Creations are extremely strong and practical.   As a handmade artisan product, slight irregularities in glaze, texture and size should be embraced.
